EXPOSURE

Exposure is a collaboratively devised play inspired by the life and work of photographer Francesca Woodman. Exposure investigates the many frameworks that define our cultural conceptions of “the artist.” Fueled by Woodman’s haunting yet playful photographs, this piece analyzes the mythologies that inform the concept of the “tortured artist” while exploring the connections these myths have to Woodman’s life.
